About the author
Elsa Long was born and raised in Oregon (and Bolivia), and has a deep love for the landscapes of the Pacific NW and world travel.
Ms. Long is a commercial interior designer by day. She has been writing and illustrating children's books as passion projects, inspired by her young sons and nieces, hoping to instill a legacy of appreciation for the beauty of our world. She sketched and digitally painted all of her illustrations during her daily commute on the Portland Trimet MAX.
"Give the moon a tickle!" is her first book, and “Fantastic Fruits from around the World: A to Z!” is her most recent release.
Elsa lives in Gladstone, OR with her husband and sons.
